Please don’t use this company! Hired to pickup in Crestview Florida in April for $2,856.00. When the shipment finally got delivered it was by another moving company, Wolfpack Movers to Washington State, they wanted cash or check for that ridiculous amount of 6,100. And there was another moving company involved Prinz Moving. Long story short, problems with no answers. Then it turns out that Wolfpack would only take cash or check because their credit card machine was broken. This has been a total nightmare costing over $6,100 ! It went from cubic feet to pounds. I called the original manager I spoke with Patric Celada. When I started asking questions he suddenly went on a two week vacation. When he returned from vacation, He wouldn’t answer the phone. I texted him and he texted me back saying I needed to speak to the transportation manager, Zack who never called me back. In between all this, I called and spoke to Matthew about the two other moving companies and he didn’t have an answer and would call me back. None of these people ever contacted me. I can’t believe that this company is still in business with the shady BS they pulled on me, cause you know they’re doing the same to others. Don’t patronize this company unless you want to get ripped off for thousands of dollars more! Just say No to Safebound Moving…This is a shoddy outfit that raises the prices and the customer service is terrible! I would give them a negative rating if I could. Beware!!! Next step, Better Business Bureau. I just looked, BBB has had numerous complaints about Safebound Moving. I wish I would have looked first, it would have saved money and the aggravation!

My Mom (an octogenarian) hired Safebound Moving & Storage to move her from FL to PA.
Their estimate was a little over $3k to move the following.
1   BED, QUEEN (WITH BOXSPRING)
2   BED, SINGLE (WITH BOXSPRING)
1   BOOK SHELF
10   BOX, LRG PBO 18X18X24
20   BOX, MED. PBO 18X18X18
10   BOX, SMALL PBO 12X12X18
1   DRESSER, DOUBLE
2   NIGHT STAND
2   OTTOMAN, SM.
2   PATIO CHAIRS
2   RECLINER
1   ROCKER
1   SIDE TABLE
1   SOFA
3   T.V. FLAT SCREEN- 33-60
2   TABLE, END
4   WICKER CHAIR

In the weeks between the estimate and moving day, Mom decided to exclude the following from the move.
1   BED, SINGLE (WITH BOXSPRING)
2   OTTOMAN, SM.
1   T.V. FLAT SCREEN- 33-60
2   TABLE, END
  4   WICKER CHAIR

The number of boxes was also much less than the original estimate, by ..
6   BOX, LRG PBO 18X18X24
  8   BOX, MED. PBO 18X18X18
  3   BOX, SMALL PBO 12X12X18

One would think she might be charged less than the original estimate.  To her surprise, come moving day, the “new” estimate was $1800 HIGHER!  She called me in a panic. I discussed with Safebound’s home office that I felt this must be some kind of mistake.  I don’t live in FL which made it difficult for me to help.  And before I was able to resolve things to my satisfaction, the driver in FL had convinced my Mom she needed to sign forms agreeing to the price increase.
Pretty disappointed in Safebound.

Do not use Safebound Moving and Storage. Read about the 99 complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau within the last three years and the 63 complaints filed in the past year. I was given an estimate of $2116 after a video walkthrough was completed. Before removing all my furniture from the truck I was given a final invoice of $2426.96 after my deposit of $ 740.00 had already been given. There was a 4% charge added on for the use of a credit card, an additional $500 For packing materials and a $234 fuel charge to move twenty five miles.

It is not the trustful company, almost lost my belongs. I have to go to court and finally delivered after 6 months. They charged extra after a video and agreement. Be careful there are no people or businesses. I was scared to lose the family’s pictures and staff.

I recently wrote a review about this moving company and my bad experience using them for a cross country move. In that review I spoke of the offer of $400 to “make amends” and perhaps write a more positive review. I said the offer of $400 never arrived. Well, today it did!! Does it alter my opinion of the service they provided me, No, it does not. Do I happily accept a bit less than 1/4 of the amount I was overcharged, yes, I do. As I recommended to them, if they had put the effort, customer service and honesty into their business at the start instead at the end of this experience together, it could have saved all of us a lot of grief.

This company stole our belongings and damaged what they did move for us. They held our property hostage until we paid almost twice the original quote. Stay far away from these thieves!
